that cuts circles. I have to cut a hole through my battery tray to run my intercooler piping through it. I also need to rotary grinder to open up a pre-existing opening for another part of the piping. Anybody know of something or have something I can barrow? Otherwize I cant get the car running.

i think Wade has a angle grinder for the opening, but I am not sure any of up have a hole saw big enough for your plumbing, what size does it need to be?

how does it work? I can get the basic hole with a 4 inch punch. but there is two layers of metal with a slight space inbetween. The battery tray sits slightly raised from the fender well. I would have to cut through both.

If it is big flat area i would suggest using my industrial jig saw... it makes nice circles. The other option is make a hex type hole using a small hole saw and a saws-all. Worst case would be if you are cutting in close quarters - go buy one of those air jig saw things - they rock. Lemme kno if you require my tools and/or assistance.
