I sure hope it is faster now! If I am not out of the 13s I will be severely dissappointed.

The install is complete and the fuel curve is smooth at ~11.5-12 at WOT. It was an eBay purchase, so I just put the supercharger on there with the pulley it already had. I have only seen around 7lbs of boost, and can't wait for more.

I am probably going to run it like this for a little while. Get some track numbers at least. Then I will get an intercooler and see if I can get 12-14lbs out of it.

Yes, I am a wuss for not going turbo, but it was installed in a couple hours and the supercharger whine is just great!

theres my boy, a supercharger!

well it is a procharger (watch those intake temps prochargers are bad for it, hence why most of their kits come with intercoolers) I applaude a supercharger!

Here is a boost lesson:

A PCV valve does not appreciate boost. Apply boost, it does not seal, you pressurize the crankcase!! Do this enough and it finds the weakest link: the rear seal on the intake manifold gasket. :D

My new winter project: pull intake and heads, put new gaskets and port match while I am at it!

The Lightning had the same problem so Ford piped the blowby into the intake which made a nice oily intercooler. There were two solutions. One was a double filter breather which caught most of the oil. The other was an inline air/oil separator then either a breather or recycled back to the intake through a decent check valve.

the syty's have a different way around that....they run 2 PCV's........ but i just take that stuff off and throw it in the trash. i never liked the idea of it circulating nasty crap back thru the intake/intercooler/motor. nasty mess.
im surprised your running a PCV on that car?
if you just put breathers in the vavle covers it should be fine. on my truck with the PCV deleted i have a very small amount of oil around the passengerside valve cover breather, but nothing worth writing home about. just wipe it off occasionally.

That car doesn't even have dust on the valve cover. Oil mist might give Troy a heart attack!
