we are building a 2.2liter closed deck block that does not yet have a home. if you would like to purchase this motor please contact jax at turbotime. 919-460-5700

the 2.2 is especially cool because of several reasons. this motor has the cylinder sleeves locked into place (they are not floating) the webbing is so extensive its a wonder these motors do not have cooling issues. the 2.2 also comes with oil squirters behind each piston, as well as special pistons with extra thick ring lands.

we started by setting up the short stroke 2.2 crank in the mill and machining it prior to balancing it.

we then purchased a set of eagle H beam rods and balanced them.

we took the case halves and oil relieved them to compliment the high volume oil pump. we then decked them and cleaned them a second time before assembly.
